The Indian Market Sales Manager’s focus will be to develop a new business initiative in the Indian Ethnic Marketplace. They will be responsible for the Indian item evaluation and suggestion to Rhee Bros. This will be a hybrid position that will be responsible for both Sales and Purchasing of the top selling Indian items that are currently in demand, in the market by both Ethnic and U.S. Markets.

Summary/Objective
The Indian Market Sales Manager’s focus will be to develop a new business initiative in the Indian Ethnic Marketplace. They will be responsible for the Indian item evaluation and suggestion to Rhee Bros. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interact with Rhee Bros. Sales and Purchasing Departments to introduce Indian items and specify top selling SKU’s in the Indian markets and provide back-up data.
- Be the point person to develop and initiate new sales and purchase of Indian Initiative Program by delivering insights of Indian food to the respective departments.
- As part of purchasing responsibility, work closely with Category Manager to develop and maintain excellent business relationship with core suppliers.
- Responsible for Indian category items performance and sales.
- Acquire an understanding of all products offered by Rhee Bros. from a sales perspective for cross selling to the Indian marketplace.
- Communicate effectively by generating appointments via telephone contact, mailings, sales presentations, and cold calls.
- Review and monitor receivables from each account and maintain required minimum time overdue.
- Develop and manage personal sales goals and quotas in respective territories in conjunction with the sales director.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proven experience as an account executive, or in other sales/customer service role
- Extensive knowledge of Indian market, sales and negotiating principles
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Bi-lingual in Hindi and English required
- Ability to travel to assigned territory by car (personal car required for travel locally) or plane and use of a rental car. Must have a clean driving record.
- A Bachelor’s degree and 6 or more years of comprehensive sales management experience.
