ROLE OVERVIEW
To ensure all areas are cleaned to the agreed standards and that the cleaning service is maintained throughout the buildings in your cluster. The hours for this role are 30 per week, 6am – 1pm Monday to Friday. Ideally we are looking for someone who is flexible and could be able to come in earlier / later if needed.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The cleaning operative is responsible for undertaking cleaning duties as required, to deliver the cleaning specifications to meet the agreed contract specification.

KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
* Adhere to company policies and required standard, at all times including PPE.
* To acknowledge and carry out any changes in legislation
* To ensure that adequate products, equipment and consumables are used and stored correctly
* Ensure that all customers and clients are dealt with promptly and courteously according to company standards
* Responsible for the delivery of cleaning specifications within the terms of the SLA including white goods.
* To be responsible for the collection and removal of waste including all recycling
* Ensure personal appearance, including uniform, are of the highest standard at all times in line with company policy.
* Ensure all maintenance faults are reported by the correct procedure.
* Responsible for the upkeep of company vehicles and conducting inspections and checks as required
* Ensure all expenditure on Purchase cards is carefully accounted for on monthly returns.
* The colleague must understand their environmental responsibilities and follow the BTFS environmental policy. They must follow BTFS procedures and routines correctly to make sure that their work is in line with the environmental policy and support the business in achieving its environmental objectives.
